Current Projects
Inclusive Cob Community (Ongoing)
Currently in the process of creating a business plan that involves two story, studio apartment buildings made out of cob, according to ICC standards, an on-site vertical indoor/container farm, an on-site all vegan restaurant, a communal outdoor recreational area, and a space that can be rented out for outdoor parties, dining, or movie viewings, located on a minimum of two acres. A place that operates in tandem with nature, sources as much as it can locally or generate itself outright, and costs 1/3 of the average American apartment to live at.
Past Projects
Romanian League for the Defense of Animals (ROLDA) (2024)
RODLA is an international non-profit organization dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation, and rehoming of animals in distress, with a significant focus on dogs. Founded on the principles of compassion, efficiency, and transparency, ROLDA‘s mission is to create a safer, more compassionate world for animals through direct action and advocacy. The organization operates with a multifaceted approach that includes rescue operations, veterinary care, shelter and adoption programs, and community education initiatives aimed at promoting responsible pet ownership and animal welfare.
RODLA‘s goals are ambitious yet grounded in achievable milestones: to significantly reduce the number of homeless animals through sterilization campaigns and adoption programs, to improve the welfare standards for animals in communities and shelters, and to advocate for stronger animal protection laws. The organization is also committed to environmental sustainability, recognizing the interconnectedness of animal welfare and ecosystem health. Through its work, ROLDA not only provides immediate relief to animals in need but also strives to address the root causes of animal abandonment and mistreatment, fostering a culture of respect and care for all living beings.

Paws & Reflect Podcast (2024)
As the Podcast & Video Producer for ROLDA‘s USA Branch, I play a pivotal role in conceptualizing, creating, and disseminating multimedia content that is both engaging and informative. Leveraging a deep understanding of environmental sustainability and a passion for storytelling, I oversee the entire production process from the initial brainstorming sessions to the final edits, ensuring that each piece of content not only aligns with ROLDA‘s mission but also resonates with a diverse audience. With a keen eye for detail and a commitment to high-quality production standards, I skillfully blend compelling narratives with visual and auditory elements, effectively communicating complex topics in an accessible and captivating manner. This role not only highlights my technical prowess in multimedia production but also underscores a dedication to leveraging media as a powerful tool for advocacy and education in environmental and social causes.
Paws & Reflect is a limited run podcast initiative created by Alexander Taylor Clayton for ROLDA, designed to delve into the multifaceted world of animal ethics, ethical conservation, and animal advocacy. With a focus on interviews and fireside-style chats, this podcast brings to light the challenges, triumphs, and intricate narratives surrounding animal rights and protection, and subsequently how ethical conservation fits in. Each episode is meticulously crafted, combining expert interviews, investigative journalism, and compelling storytelling to explore topics ranging from rescue operations and rehabilitation to the broader implications of human-animal interactions within ecosystems. Paws & Reflect is more than just a podcast; it’s a platform for advocacy and education, aimed at fostering a deeper understanding and compassion towards animals, the environment, and our place in the world as animals a part of nature, not apart from nature. My work on this podcast not only demonstrates a commitment to animal welfare but also showcases an innovative approach to engaging a wide audience in critical conversations about conservation, empathy, and sustainability.

Seastead Role-playing Game (2021)
Putting my social scientist skills to work, I created a text-based roleplaying game from scratch for community members to engage with and to study how individuals would come together (or not) to tackle potential scenarios they may face on a seastead. You can visit the original webpage for it and read the after report below. Report originally published 07/28/2021.

Please Consider Donating!
Donations go a long way to helping me and my work, and any amount would always be appreciated! Even if you only donate $1, if 1000 people visited my website and donated $1, well, you can do the math. And in a world of 8.1 Billion (as of October 12th, 2023), I think 1000 is doable. Just imagine what I could do if every visitor was that kind.
